John Frank Sarnowski, 68, born November 21, 1946 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to John Sarnowski and Audrey Krzeszewski Sarnowski, passed away September 14, 2015 in Jacksonville, Florida.

John was a loving and caring devoted father and family man. He served in the United States Navy and was in the Vietnam War. Once leaving the military, he was a machinist for the remainder of his working years. John enjoyed fishing, and watching and coaching girls softball at AEAA and NFGS associations.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Julie Sarnowski ; both parents and a sister Patricia Schmidt. John is survived by his brother Tom (Marie) Sarnowski and his children Brian (Alanna) Sarnowski, Kelly (Kristen) Sarnowski, and Katie Sarnowski; grandchildren, Devyn (Tim), Haylei, Alana, Ezra; great grandchild, Gwendolyn and other family members.

A Visitation Gathering will begin 6PM-8PM, Monday, September 21, 2015 at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home 11 AM, Tuesday, September 22, 2015 with Rev. Al Hicks officiating and The United States Navy rendering Funeral Honors in recognition of John's dedicated service to a grateful Nation.
