Obituary of Joseph Dowell

Mr. Joseph T. Dowell, 85, entered into rest peacefully on December 23, 2010 in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Dowell is remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. A native of Jacksonville, after serving in the US Navy, he returned home to raise his family. He is survived by his loving wife of many beautiful years, Lorita P. Dowell, daughters, Debbie (Ray) Gamerstfelder and Vickie (David) Clark; granddaughters, Dawn (Chuck) Wilkie and Ashley Clark; and great grandson, Chaz Wilkie. Family would like to welcome friends on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 2:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL with funeral services to start at 3:00pm.
