Obituary of Joseph Patrick
Patrick, Joseph Clarence (JC), 90 of St. Johns, FL went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. Joseph served with the Marine Corps during WWII. Joseph was the chief electrical inspector for the City of Jacksonville for 28 years, retiring in 1987. He was still employed as a qualifying agent for Hinson Electric at the time of his death.
JC was a real people person; people would say that he made them feel like they were the only person in the world. He loved to garden, play golf, Beach Bop dance, fishing and following the Gators. JC loved his Lord and was ready to meet him, he had a good life, well lived.
He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Mary Patrick, his daughter Karen Kay Rodriguez and his granddaughter Amanda Rodriguez. JC is survived by his wife Lydia Kay Patrick and son Joseph Michael Patrick (Julie), daughter Jennifer M. Diley(Stanley), 3 grandson's Liam and Hunter Patrick and Zachary Diley and a brother Jack Patrick.
A Memorial service for JC will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Faith Baptist Church of Mandarin, 2955 Orange Picker Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
