Obituary of Joseph Ross

Joseph (Gene) Ross, Sr. passed away on June 4, 2010. He was born on August 30, 1952 in Fitzgerald , GA. Gene had been a long time resident of the Jacksonville area. He is preceded in death by his dear wife Bonnie. He is survived by his two sons, Joseph Jr. and Lonnie (Kristi); five grandchildren, Joseph III, Bailey, Hannah, Mykenzie, and Gage; many nieces and nephews; and his sister Yvonne (Kenneth) Rowland; "Other sons, Anthony (Rachel) Rigdon, Hillbilly (Tonya), Kevin Abbott, and Boogie (Angel); and numerous extended family members. Gene was a man who lived by his word and instilled that in his boys. Gene was a loving father and a giving Papa. He is loved and will be greatly missed. Family will recieve friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and a funeral service on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
