Joseph A. Walding, 81, passed on to Glory peacefully, March 27, 2020. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 37 years, Sybille.

Joe, or Papa Joe, as his employees called him, was the founder of Walding Company (1965), one of the oldest road and utility businesses in the Jacksonville area, and was a founding member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God. He is survived by his loving wife of many years Serena Scarry Walding; sons, Mike and Walter Walding; daughter, Carolyn; and brothers, John and Henry Walding.  His legacy is also being carried on by nine grandchildren.

Funeral services for Joseph will be held graveside at Arlington Park Cemetery - 6920 Lone Star Road at 12pm, Friday April 10th, 2020.
