Obituary of Joyce Caster

Joyce Fink Caster, 74, went to her eternal home, on September 11, 2012. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, George Harry Caster, her parents Jacob and Twila Fink and her grandson, Nicholas Adam Caster. Joyce was a native of Oil City, Pennsylvania and moved to Jacksonville in 1958.

Joyce was a long time faithful member of Central Church of the Nazarene, and served the church in many capacities, as secretary, board member, children's director and youth Sunday school teacher.

Joyce was a devout Christian woman who brought hope, compassion and love to others. Joyce was a member of the Red Hat Society and on many occasion could be seen wearing her Red Hat with purple feathers..

Joyce was a mother whose love was immense and undeniable, a grandmother who could bake cookies and bring smiles and giggles with her laughter and a great-grandmother whose arms were a safe haven for cuddling.

Joyce is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Pam Caster, her 2 brothers, Ronald Fink (Mercedes), Dennis Fink (Monique),

Her 3 sisters, Joan Alford (Wayne), Sally Duggan (Richard), Linda Templet (Irvin), her 3 grandchildren, Christopher Lowstuter (Jennifer),

Brooke Rains (Andy), Kyle Caster and her 4 great-grandchildren, Rachel, Maddie, and Andrew , and Emma Marie.

Services will be held on Monday, September 17, 1012 at 2:00 pm, family will receive friends at 1:00 pm, at Central Church of the Nazarene, 2130 University Blvd. followed by graveside services at Arlington Park Cemetery.
