Joyce Lunell Skinner passed away on June 5, 2026, following an illness.

Born on December 27, 1936, in Crossville, Tennessee, Joyce was the daughter of Paul Glenn Sells and Pansy Hall Sells, both of whom preceded her in death.

Joyce enjoyed a long and rewarding career as both an over-the-road and local truck driver. Driving was more than a profession to her—it was a passion that she continued to miss even after retirement.

She is survived by her children: Larry Skinner (Sandra), Linda Higdon (Terry), David Skinner (Helen), James Skinner (Cathleen), Rebecca Miller, and Michael Skinner (Catherine). She was preceded in death by her daughters, Paula and Karen.

Joyce is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as two nieces.

She will be remembered for her hardworking spirit, dedication to her family, and the many lives she touched throughout her years.
