Obituary of Joyce Talley

Joyce B. Talley, 73, entered into rest on April 9, 2013. She is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was born on February 5, 1940 in Pensacola, FL to the late George M. and Ella Booker. She grew up in Pensacola, and then relocated to Welaka, FL, where she spent most of her life and moved to Jacksonville ten years ago to be closer to her family. She enjoyed cooking and a good joke; above all, she treasured her family and friends most. Joyce will be most remembered for her contagious laugh. She is survived by her children, Charles Roland Cornelius, George M. Zeagler, Zachary C. Zeagler and Deanne Zeagler Johns; her Precious Joel Johns; grandchildren, Cayla R. Crabtree, Dustin T. Johns, Nicholas R. Zeagler and Sidne D. Johns; brother, Cleveland Booker; sister, Kitty Bentley; numerous nieces and nephews; and her trusted companion, Troy Ronnie Cumbee; and many friends. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10:00am at Arlington Park Funeral Home, (904)724-6384, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL.
