Obituary of Juanita NeSmith

Juanita H. NeSmith, 92, passed away on June 2, 2011. She was born on August 25, 1918 in Statesboro, GA. Predeceased by her parents Thomas H. and Ruby Hodges, brother Thomas H. Hodges Jr. Juanita was a graduate of Jones Business College and retired from Solomon Pharmaceutical Co. She was of the Baptist faith. Juanita is survived by her three faithful daughters Delores (Kenneth) Mixson of Jax. Fla., Harlene (Jerry) Shealy of Florence, S.C., Angela (Billy) Cowart of Middleburg, Fla.; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; sister Edwina (Malcolm) Williams of Savannah, Ga. and sister-in-law Lois Hodges. The family would like to say thank you to Teresa Butts and the staff of St. Catherine LaBoure' Manor. We won't forget the many acts of kindness you showed our mother, with love and appreciation to caregivers Dianna Sanders and Felicia McGee. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32211, for a visitation on Monday, June 6, 2011 from 1:30pm to 3:00pm and funeral service at 3:00pm.
