IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judy Wallace
Foxworth
August 18, 1940 – November 8, 2025
Judy Wallace Foxworth was born August 18, 1940, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Marjorie Suggs Wollitz and Joseph Arthur Wollitz. The family, later known as Wallace, lived in Panama Park. Judy graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 1958 and married Gerald "Jerry" Lee Foxworth on August 12, 1960, a marriage that lasted 63 years. Together they raised three children, Mark, Greg, and Jennifer who were the center of Judy's world.
Judy was the rock of her family. As a homemaker, she poured her heart into creating a warm, steady, and loving home. She was wholly devoted not only to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, but to her extended family as well.
Judy had a variety of artistic talents to include painting, drawing and crocheting. She was a self-taught seamstress who often made clothing and who could alter or repair almost any piece of clothing. She loved animals and found great joy in feeding wild birds and squirrels. Her grandchildren have fond memories that include the big candy jar, homemade chocolate or coconut cakes, the basket of toys, the stack of coloring books, Cheerwine soft drinks, Yahoo chocolate drinks, light up toys that spin and sparkle, plants and flowers of every kind and many other things that she shared with them to make them feel special.
Judy had a great love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She studied the Bible daily and enjoyed talking to others about her faith. She prayed daily for her family and for the Gospel of Christ to reach throughout the world.
Judy was predeceased by her father (1987), mother (1996), and husband (2023). She is survived by her sister Nancy Pasey (Marc), her brother Richard Wallace (Kathy), her cousin who was like a sister to her, Darlene Suggs Menendez, her children Mark Foxworth (Mary), Greg Foxworth (Gina) and Jennifer Foxworth, her grandchildren Ashleigh Chafton (Joey), Kimberly Cavender (Casey), Suzanne Hale (Aaron), Gregory Brock Foxworth and Andrew Goethe along with sixteen great grandchildren and assorted nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will gather for a celebration of Judy's life at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida on Sunday, December 14th at 2:00pm. Though she will be deeply missed, her love, strength, and faith live on in the family she so dearly cherished.
