Obituary of Julia Lay

Julia Ann Raven Lay, 63, passed away August 7, 2009. Julia was born in Jacksonville and graduated from Englewood High School in 1964. Her true passion in life has been showing Irish Setters which she has owned and bred for over thirty years. She was a longtime member of the ISCA and ISCJ where she made many dear friends who have become her second family. Julia was a best friend to many and touched many lives in every aspect of life. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ann Post and her former husband, David Lay. Survivors include her children, Christine Smith (Kevin) and David Lay (Lurleen); grandchildren, Andrew, Kyle, Garrett, Austin and Johnny and many loving friends. At Julia's request no services will be held. Donations can be made in her memory to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida 4266 Sunbeam Road Jacksonville, Florida 32257.
