Jure Vrban, age 82 of Jacksonville, FL died December 15, 2017. He was the son of Ivan and Lucija Vrban and was born, May 15,1935 in Croatia. Jure immigrated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1962, moved to Orlando, FL in 1978 then finally to Jacksonville in 2005. He was a loving, sweet, kind and gentle man who dearly loved his family.

Jure is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Ana; sisters Lucija Grguric and Angie Spiranovich; children George (Michele) Vrban; John (Lora) Vrban, Lisa Brown, Richard Vrban (Tom McDole); grandchildren Casey Vrban, Michael Breaux, Kyle and Zachary Vrban; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Jure was preceded in death by his parents Ivan and Lucija Vrban; brothers Anton, Jakov, and Milan Vrban; and sister Marija Secic.

A Funeral Mass will be on Friday 12/22/17 at St. Paul's Catholic Church at 10AM, 435 1 ^st Avenue North, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to St. Paul's Catholic Church on behalf of Jure Vrban.
