Obituary of Katherine Plourde

Katherine Rebecca Plourde, 35 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on November 24, 2010 at Baptist Hospital. She was born on August 30,1975 in Jacksonville, Florida to her parents, Michael Roland and Mary Ellen .

She attended Terry Parker High. She was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida for 35 years and employed by Fantasy Lane as a sales/ instructor for 7 years. Katherine was a member of Harvest Baptist Church growing up. She enjoyed taking and saving animals on the street; even going as far as bring many animals into her own home. Five dogs, five cats, 3 rabbits and an assortment of fish were lucky to be in Kathy's care. She loved them all. She enjoyed plants, cactus and people. She loved her Mickey/Minnie mouse collection, anything Walt Disney. She also collected dolphins for years as well.

Katherine will be remembered by her children Shane Allen Demierre and Damon Zachary Demierre and their father Brent Allen Demierre; sisters Nancy Hammond and her sons Thomas and Raymond, Angelina Barron and her daughters Peyton and Brook and Patricia Plourde. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
