We mourn the loss of Kathryn Sheehan Dunham, who passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, at the age of 78. Born October 16, 1946, she was a proud native of Jacksonville, FL, living a life full of love, achievement, and service. She earned her MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1995 at the age of 49, a testament to her determination and dedication to personal growth. Following her retirement from BellSouth in 1999 after 33 years of dedicated service, she continued to contribute to the telecommunications industry as a consultant for companies worldwide.

After retiring, she found fulfillment in giving back to her community in working at the Downtown Ecumenical Services Council and the Ortega Forest Garden Circle, leaving a lasting impact through her kindness and generosity.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael A. Dunham Sr., and brother, David Sheehan. She is survived by her sisters, Pat Setzer (Rex) and Mary Blue; her devoted son, Michael A. Dunham Jr. (Allyson); and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.

A service to celebrate her life will take place at Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel located at 6920 Lone Star Road Jacksonville, FL 32211 on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. Following the service will be a Celebration of Life at Lillian's Sports Grill at 5393 Roosevelt Blvd # 6, Jacksonville, FL, 32210 from 4p - 6p. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in her memory be made to the Downtown Ecumenical Services Council to honor her legacy of service and compassion.
