Kay Dunwoody Marshall, 73, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in
Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on October 19, 1943 in Huntsville, Alabama
to Kermit Edward Dunwoody I and Ruth E. Oaks She moved to Rome, Georgia
at a young age and then Jacksonville at age 10. She attended Andrew Jackson
High School where she graduated with the class of 1961. Kay worked at Florida
National Bank and later at the J&M Family Enterprises as Financial Operations
Manager where she retired after 36 years.
Kay is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Russell Craig Marshall; a
brother, Kermit Edward Dunwoody II; a stepson, Michael Marshall (Robin); three
nephews, Kermit Dunwoody III, Kenneth Dunwoody and Keith Dunwoody; one
niece, Kimberly Dunwoody-Cates; and many, many friends from her Englewood
Community Church family.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 2PM, Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the
Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel
A Celebration of Life will begin at 2PM, Saturday, May 27, 2017 in the chapel of
the funeral home with Brother Ken Gemeinhart officiating.
Interment will follow the service in Arlington Park Cemetery.
