Kay Reynolds Popwell, 71, stepped into the arms of Jesus on Friday, September 7, 2018. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, graduated Terry Parker High School and Jacksonville University. She was a retired employee of Arlington United Methodist Church. She also served many years working with Hodges Boulevard Presbyterian and Jacksonville University.

She enjoyed sewing, attending church fellowship, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kay was preceded in death by her loving husband Doyle 'Wade' Popwell and her parents Thomas W. Reynolds, Sr. and Mary 'Kathryn' Scott Reynolds.

She is survived by her Daughters: Wendy 'Jill' Foster (David), and Crissy Marie Hughes (Charles Jr.); Grandchildren: Amara Belle Hughes, Bane Killian Hughes and Baby Boy Foster (due this December); Brother, Tom Reynolds, Jr. (Joyce); Nieces and Nephews: Maggie Reynolds, Anna Reynolds (Matthew Patterson), Brooks Popwell, Lisa Kimbro (Brent), and Benjamin Popwell; Great Nieces and Nephews: Bryce McClellan, Sophia McClellan, Claire Kimbro and Weston Kimbro.

Graveside Services will be held, 10 am, Friday, September 14, 2018 at Arlington Memorial Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL with Pastor Robert Anderson officating.

Reception will immediately follow in the Fellowship Hall of Arlington United Methodist Church, 1400 University Boulevard North, Jacksonville, FL 32211
