Kenneth "Jake" Jacobsen passed away May 2, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He was 68 years old.

Born and raised in Craig, Colorado, Kenneth joined the Navy in 1968 and served his country proudly for 20years.  In 1989, he attended Baptist School of Radiology and met his forever wife. Jake and Martha were married on June 5, 1993 in Jacksonville, FL.  He remained there until his passing.

He enjoyed playing cribbage, re-enacting Civil War and later the colonial time period. He enjoyed the outdoors.  Jake was a Mason and very active in his Lodge 309.  He was a Mason for many years starting with J. Wendell Fargis Lodge at the beach.  Jake had many friends and he will be dearly missed.

Kenneth was proceed in death by parents; Gmoyne Dalrymple and Kenneth Franklin Jacobsen.

He survived by his loving wife, Martha; daughters, Michelle Hennigan of Arizona and Lisa Depetris of Jacksonville, Florida; son, Joseph Green of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Ashley, Aiden, Alina, Tyler and Hannah.

Jake had many friends and he will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 5pm in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211, with Dr. Timothy McDaniel officiating. An inurnment will be held a later date at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, where full military will be rendered.
