Obituary of Kenneth Mcintyre

Kenneth R. McIntyre, 77, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2007 surrounded by his family. He was a graduate of Ohio State University and loved football, fishing and boating. Ken was a member of the United States Navy and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. A loving father and dear friend, Ken will be truly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his children; Tom McIntyre, John McIntyre, Marilyn McIntyre, Lee Cobb-Miller, and Steve Cobb, his first wife; Lou Shirley, his second wife; Joanne McIntyre, grandchildren; Lauren, Whitney, Parker and Max, as well as many loving friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 4:00pm in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to either the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons research or to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
