Larry Joe Powell, 66, of Jacksonville, passed away on Jan. 19, 2016. He was born on Oct. 21, 1949 to John Evan and Pauline Hines Powell.

He is survived by his loving wife of three years Susan Kidd Powell; his father, John Evan Powell; two sisters, Louise Harris (Richard ) and Phyllis Morton; a son, Christopher Powell Sr.; a daughter, Angie Collinsl three grandsons, Christopher Powell Jr., Adam Powell, and Derek Powell; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He will be missed by his friends, Donald Johnson, Chuck Dempsey, Bill Hoover, Bob Bask, Mark Beckwith and Craig Gann.

He was the owner of Larry's Drain Cleaning and was a plumber for over 30 years. He was very proud of his Naval Career and serving his country as a Navy Seal. He loved football, fishing and Nascar and playing with his Weimaraner puppy Ozzie.
