Larry Olan Prevatt, 78 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully at his home on May 16th, 2020. He was born on February 26, 1942 in Seville, Florida. Larry retired from JEA and Southeast Power Corporation. He loved football, NASCAR, cars, hotrods and most of all his family.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, George & Emma Prevatt; his brother, Harry Prevatt, and his granddaughter Alicia Ortloff.

Survivors include his devoted and loving wife of 57 years, Cheryl; his children, Jodie and Todd Prevatt; his grandchildren, Bradley Ortloff, Jr., Zachery (Brittny) Prevatt, Kelli (Trey) Prevatt; 2 great-grandsons, Bryan Prevatt and Maison Mitchell, along with a host of cousins and close friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, May 22nd at Arlington Park Cemetery. Pastor David Maxwell will be the officiant. Larry's family will be receiving guests from 6-8 pm, Thursday May 21st at the Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, Florida 32211.
