Obituary of Leida Moyet

Leida Moyet, 84, of Jacksonville, FL returned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. Leida was born to the late Jos Felipe Veitia and Gloria Maria Alomar in Ponce, PR on July 17, 1931.

Leida studied cosmetology and later owned her own salon. She later became a secretary and retired from the Burger King home office in Puerto Rico. Leida moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1998 where she met the love of her life, Carlos Moyet. They married in 1999 and remained so until his passing on December 31, 2010.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Eda I. Faircloth; two sons; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and her two beloved dogs. And through marriage: 1 adored son in law; 3 granddaughters; 8 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her dear husband Carlos Moyet; only sibling Jos Manuel Veitia; her loving grandson Cammren Orlando Faircloth; and step daughter Ramona Delgado.

A service will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 6320 Bennett Road Jacksonville, FL 32216 on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10:30 am.
