Obituary of Lena Mattison

Lena Angela Capri Mattison, 86, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009. She retired from Barnett Bank as a bank teller for over 25 years. Lena was a lifetime member of Resurrection Catholic Church and the Italian American Club. She is preceded in death by Jack, her loving husband of over 60 years. Lena is survived by her son, John (Karen) Mattison III; daughter, Carol (Bill) Walters; grandchildren, Audrey Capri Welch (Josh), John W. Mattison IV, Angela Capri Walters and Elizabeth Capri Walters; great-grandchildren, Campbell Welch and Tyler Welch; many nieces and nephews, as well as a loving extended family and many friends. Visitation will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 University Blvd N, Jacksonville, FL 32277-2483, (904) 744-0833, on Sunday, July 5, 2009 from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and a funeral service on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. also at Resurrection Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Arlington Park Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Arlington Community Service, 1450 Rogero Road, 743-7575.
