Obituary of Lenora Geneva Sanderson

Lenora Geneva Sanderson, 91, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010 after a long illness. Lenora was a loving mother and a woman who will be well remembered by her family. Lenora was born in Floyd County, Georgia, but moved to Jacksonville at a young age and lived here most of her life. She is survived by four children: two sons, Neil Sanderson and his wife Debbie of St. Augustine and H.L. Sanderson and his wife Linda of Jacksonville; two daughters, Debra Brand and her husband Berton of Slidell, Louisiana and Brenda Savage and her husband Bill of Fernandina Beach; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Sanderson. Lenora worked as a school bus driver for many years and enjoyed being around children. She also worked at Pic-N'Save until she retired. She relished watching her "stories" on television and doting on her pet dog "Trouble".
