Leoma Elizabeth Ashley Carrico

Leoma Elizabeth Ashley Carrico passed away January 23, 2016 in Plano, Texas. She was the oldest child born to Emmett and Orpha Ashley in Wyatt, West Virginia on January 23, 1922. She graduated Sutton High School in 1940. After school in Clarksburg, she married Forrest Ralph Carrico at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina August 30, 1942 and they lived most of their married life in Florida. After Ralph's death in 2003, Leoma moved to Texas to live with her son, Richard and his wife.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Eva Louise Ashley, Eileen Cogar, and Buddy Ashley. Leoma is survived by sons Richard in Plano TX: Robert in Riverton, WY and James in Sutton, WV. She was loved dearly by daughter-in-laws, Renna and Kelly. She had four grandsons, Todd, Bryan, John and Tanner: one granddaughter, Sara, and nine great grandchildren plus five nieces and six nephews.

Leoma will be buried next to Ralph at Arlington Park Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida January 29th.
