Leon D'Shawn Bennett, 23, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 24, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born in Jacksonville to Leon Darrell Bennett and Rhonda Marie Kelly on September 10, 1994.

Leon's interests included writing music, performing in various venues, playing basketball, going to the beach, spending time with family and most of all being a father to his children. He loved the Jaguars and left us wearing his favorite jersey: Jalen Ramsey. Leon also loved Lebron James!

Leon was preceded in death by his uncle, Russell George, and his cousin, Maurice Hobbs.

He is survived by fiancé, Lakea Pringle; sons, Lukas and Liam Bennett; mother, Rhonda Kelly and step-father James Phillips; sisters, Breana Kelly (niece Keyah) and Devauna Thomas (nephew Ahmari and niece Ahmirah); brothers, Michael and Devin Bennett; grandparents Ed and Susan Kelly and many, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will begin a Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211.
