Leonard Joseph Woods, 62, born August 30, 1954 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania to Daniel and Marion Woods, passed away November 9, 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida. Leonard worked for Catlin and Son for 30 years as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Elizabeth Rowley Woods; sisters, Darlene Delvin and Dawn Woods. Leonard is survived by his beloved wife, Melanie Ashton Woods; son, Brandon Woods; grandson, Jason Roberts; sisters, Holly Woods, Edna Vaughn, Joan Barnett and brother, Billy Barnett, life long friends, Richard Delgado, Robert and Joyce Whitney. The Woods family will receive friends for a Visitation Gathering from 6-8PM, Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will be held 2PM, Friday, November 18, 2016 in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Al Hicks officiating.
