Obituary of Lester Jones

Lester Paul Jones, 72, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2009. He was a wonderful husband, devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and caring friend to all who knew him. Paul was born in Gilchrist County, Florida on January 2, 1937, to the late Blanco and Eunice Jones. He is survived by his loving wife Alice F. Jones of 51 wonderful years; sons Alan Jones and Robbie (Sue) Jones; three grandchildren Robby Romeka, Tracey Cheeseman, Kelley Jones; two great-grandchildren Tristin Moody, Paisley Romeka; two sisters Helen Langford, Joyce Jerrels and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul loved to hunt and fish every time he had the chance and was a retired member of the IBEW 177. Family would like to invite friends to Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, on Sunday, September 13, 2009 for a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, September 14, 2009 for a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery.
