Lillian Ruth Garcia was born on October 17, 1943 in NY City. As a faithful child of God, she ministered to her husband Filberto until his death in 1984 and her daughter Lisa until her death in 2011. She also shared her life and her gifts with residents of the Florida Association of Deaf and Blind group homes, and anyone in need. A registered nurse, her caring skills were witnessed by countless others.

Lillian is survived by her brothers Peter (Toni) in St. Petersburg and Daniel (Carole) of The Villages as well as 3 nieces and 1 nephew.  She was in St. Petersburg, Florida with her family when she went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 27, 2021.  Her funeral arrangements were made with Arlington Park Funeral Home.

The inurnment of her earthly remains will take place at a Celebration of her life on Saturday, June 19th at Noon at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband and daughter.
