Lillian Bertha Ritz, age 97 passed away at home in Yulee, Florida on March 23, 2019. She had been a long time resident of Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on June 27, 1921 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She is predeceased by her parents John George Hess and Lillian Woodhead
Hess as well as her sister Dorothy Hess Weidinger. She is survived by her husband Norman H. Ritz, retired F.B.I. Agent, her children Carolyn Wade (Dale), Janet Heckle (Marty), Lois Staller (Jack), J. Ritz-Porter (Jim Seymour) and Norman L. Ritz (Brenda). She is also survived by 13
grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Lillian was a long time member of the Arlington Presbyterian Church. She had enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels and getting to know those in need. The Atlantic Ocean will always be her tranquility where she grew up in Ventnor Beach
and sharing her many memories with her children. Lillian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and will forever be in our hearts.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 12pm to 1pm in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211. Funeral services will begin at 1pm, with Pastor Jim Robinett officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6921 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211.
