IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda Carol
Bardole
December 18, 1944 – May 8, 2023
Linda Carol Bardole, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away unexpectedly from a short illness on Monday, May 8, 2023. She was 78. Linda was born on December 18, 1944 here in Jacksonville to Esther and Leslie Bardole.
Linda graduated from Robert E. Lee High School; upon graduating from high school, she enrolled and graduated from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Although Linda never married, her life was very fulfilled with hobbies of sewing, creative crafts, volunteering with the Ladies Auxiliary of Memorial Hospital, and up until the COVID pandemic, Volunteers in Medicine, as an optometrist assistant to Dr. Howard Rose for several years.
Her BIGGEST passion and love was for cats. Over the years, Linda was EVERY feline's Best Friend; whether homeless or happen to stray into her backyard, they found safety, lots and lots of food, medical attention, but most importantly LOVE. Pretty much every cat that came into my Aunt's life found a name and a fur-ever home! I have no doubt there are a lot of "whiskers" waiting for her at The Rainbow Bridge.
Linda is survived by her loving niece, Debra J Bardole, and numerous friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents, Esther and Leslie Bardole, and her brother, Robert L. Bardole.
Linda's family would like to THANK the ICU Team at St. Vincent's Riverside and the Nursing Team at Community Hospice/St. Vincent's Riverside for their medical care and support.
In lieu of flowers, contributions, large or small, may be made to the Jacksonville Humane Society or First Coast No More Homeless Pets in Linda's memory. May the Paws be with You!
