Linda Lee Jones (Lane) age 70 of East Liverpool, Ohio, passed away on March 26, 2022, in her residing home of Jacksonville, Florida. She was born to the late Alice Ellen Rough and Robert Lane, on August 28th, 1951. Linda married the love of her life, James David Jones, Sr, on April 10th, 1971. Her battle with medical issues in recent years showed her courage in facing life's challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Linda came out a hero and stayed strong until the very end. In life, Linda was brought joy by the simplest pleasures. She loved time with family or friends, an evening at the beach or an episode of the Golden Girls! She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. Her long time role as a Military spouse helped play a part in her ability to make friends anywhere and overcome any obstacles thrown her way, all while often raising her children on her own while James sailed the seas. Linda, Momma, Grammy/Grandma is survived by her 4 children, in which she dedicated her life. Her daughters, Marci (Connell), Christie (Creveling), Michelle (Hurt) and her son James Jones Jr.
Linda was blessed in life with four bonus children; three sons-in-law, Charlie Connell, Nikolas Creveling, Tommy Hurt & a beautiful daughter-in-law, Elizabeth (Wilcox). Linda leaves behind ten grandchildren, who she loved beyond measure! Chastie, Jordan, Elisabeth, Kaylee, Ava, Natalee, Jaxon, Hayden, Hadley and Remington.
Linda is also survived by her brothers, Pepper, Terry, Tracy, as well as her sisters-in-law, Lori, Cherry and Selisa. Linda joins her husband, James, her parents Robert, Alice, step-father William, and her brother, Michael Lane in heaven. Linda's viewing ceremony will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Arlington Park Funeral Home. The burial will take place following at the Arlington Park Cemetery where she will reunite with her husband and placed at his side.
