Linda Gail Meade, born on August 5, 1943, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Clyde DeSha and Kathleen Elkins.

Linda graduated from Kirkman Technical High School where she was also a highly talented cheerleader.

Linda dedicated 20 plus years to being an administrative assistant for US Customs where she received many awards and accolades for her service. After retirement Linda made many friends working part-time at the JAX Port where she checked in guests boarding cruises. Her career was paralleled by an active participation in her community's spiritual life at North Jax Baptist Church, where she was a cherished member.

In addition to her parents Linda Meade was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Meade; former husband, Mel Mullins; daughter, Ramona Gibson; and sister, Jeanie Chandler.

Linda Meade is survived by son, Mark Mullins(Anna); daughter, Janna Sizemore(Jason); two step-sons, Eric Meade(Amber); and Douglas Meade(Kimberly); grandchildren, Tyler(Estelle), Kalyn(Adam), Ryan, Bailey, Reagan, Logan, Delana, Cameron, Kennady, Kaley, Patrick(Ashley), Hunter, Luke, Brian, Nicholas, Kristina, Alex, and Zayne; great grandchildren, Connor, Cali, Codi, Ellery, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.

Linda was known to all as being the kindest most generous soul and will forever be missed.
