Obituary of Linda Warren

Early in the hours of September 21 Linda peacefully passed away. Her health had been in decline for some time and the recent multiple hospital stays had exhausted her.

Predeceased by her parents, Jim and Juanita Etchberger, she departed this life leaving behind her husband of 31 years, Jeff, her daughter Shannon, and eight loving grandchildren. She will be missed by a large extended family of three step children, Kim and her 3 children, Jeff Jr. his wife Kristi and two children, and Christopher Warren. Her cousins, Cindy, Nita and Honey had more of a sister relationship than cousins. They each remained close to her throughout her lifetime, and were a great comfort and aid to her and her family in the last days.

She was devoted to her relatives, friends, both from high school and the relationships she developed with coworkers from her twenty years of city service. Once the bond was made, it could be stretched by time and distance but never broken, and always easily renewed.

Her laugh, her fun spirit and a "never met a stranger" attitude was cherished by all who knew her and those that came in contact with her. Although her physical presence is absent, her memory will live on for many generations.

At her request there will be no funeral service, also please consider a donation to the Northeast Community Hospice. Truly an outstanding organization.
