It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lois K. Harden. Mrs. Harden passed away at Haven Hospice Robert's Center in Palatka, FL. on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the age of 90. She was born is Hazlehurst, GA and had resided in Keystone Heights, FL for the past 36-years. Mrs. Harden retired from Anchor Hocking after 22-years of services. She was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother to her loving family.
She is survived by her three children; son Joseph E. Harden, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Middleburg, FL; two daughters, Judie M. Thomas and her husband Randal D. Thomas Sr., and Francis H. Parker of Orange Park, FL. Mrs. Harden also leaves behind four grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32211. Funeral services will immediately follow the viewing with her nephew, Rev. Charles Carter officiating. Mrs. Harden will once again be rejoined with her beloved husband of 56-years, Joseph E. Harden, Sr., as she will be laid to rest beside him in Arlington Park Cemetery.
