Obituary

Lois Ann Magno, 79 of Jacksonville, Florida was called to be with the Lord and loved ones on October 27, 2022. Wife, Mother, Grandmother (Mom Mom), Great Grandmother, Aunt, Godmother, and Friend to many, Lois is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Robert (Bob) A. Magno; daughter, Lori Magno; sons, Richard Magno (Chris) and Robert Magno (Mary); brothers, Alan Costabile (Christine), Regis Costabile (Pam), Reginald Costabile (late Joan), Louis Costabile (Dee), and Jeffrey Costabile (Karen); grandchildren, Kathryn Fitzwater (Ian), LeeAnn Scheer, and Travis Scheer (Carlena); great grandchild, Conrad Robert Fitzwater; and many nieces, nephews, family, friends, and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anne Pernelli Costabile and Louis Costabile.
Lois was born on November 20, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. After graduation from high school and two years in nursing school, she married and raised her three children, Lori, Robert, and Richard, living in several states as a military wife. Lois enjoyed and excelled at cooking, mastering several ethnic cuisines, and hosted elaborate dinner parties for her extended family. She was artistic and also enjoyed sewing, ceramics and decorating, as well as researching her Italian family history. One of her most treasured experiences was visiting Italy.
Lois and her husband moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1983. They retired in 1987 and enjoyed traveling, visiting family and many of Florida's cities and towns. Lois especially loved visiting Disney World and served as a vacation planner and tour guide for many family members!

A Celebration of Life for Lois will be held in Jacksonville in early Spring 2023.
