Lonnie C Howard, 90, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021, in Jacksonville, FL, one day before his 91 ^st birthday.

Born on April 3, 1930, in Williamsburg County, SC, he was the son of the late William Howard and the late Sue Morris Howard.

Survivors include two children, Patricia Ann (Frederick R) Thomas of Jacksonville, FL, and Lonnie C. II (Gigi) Howard of Columbus, OH; 4 grandchildren, Cindy (Kent) Hatchett, Joseph (Krista) Thomas, Frederick L (Audrey) Thomas, and Jessica Howard; 5 great grandchildren, Bryan Hatchett, Lauren Hatchett, Tanner Thomas, Jase Thomas and Lorelei Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Diane Howard; 3 sisters, Retha Howard, Elnita Howard, Betty Sue Howard; 5 brothers, Luther Howard, Olin Howard, Eddie Howard, Willie Howard and Leland Howard; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at

Arlington Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32211

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m.
