Lorette Keeler Trolle, age 90, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on March 30, 2020 .

Lori was born on September 20, 1929 in Plattsburgh, NY, to Benjamin and Ruth Keeler. She was a graduate of Bronxville High School in Bronxville, NY, and the Katharine Gibbs School in New York City.

On January 11, 1952 she married the love of her life, Thorwald (Tom) Nils Trolle, in Vero Beach, Florida. Lori and Tom lived in Stockholm, Sweden, from 1959-1968, Rochester, New York from 1969 – 1971, and then New Canaan, Connecticut, until the early '90's when they retired to Vero Beach, Florida.

For the majority of her adult life, Lori devoted herself to the well-being of her family, raising four children (along with her husband Tom!) and successfully managing the home life of her family for many years, while relocating several times both internationally and within the country. Her children remember her as a caring mother who prepared wonderful meals and who was always there to attend to their needs, if not always their every wish!

Lori enjoyed tennis, golf, kayaking, gardening, reading and spending time with her family. She was a former member of the Junior League in New Canaan as well as the New Canaan Field Club and New Canaan Country Club in CT; they also had memberships in a number of Vero Beach, FL, clubs, including the Moorings, Sea Oaks, Hawk's Nest, and Vero Beach Country Club; and the Eastman Golf & Tennis Club in Grantham, NH.

She is survived by her children: Mike (Stephanie) Trolle of Ridgefield, CT; Peter (Jayme) Trolle of Jacksonville, FL; Chris (Diann) Trolle of Trumbull, CT; and Kathy (Toby) Thomas of Pleasant Prairie, WI; grandchildren: Kayla and Thomas Trolle; Justin Healey, Max and Kurt Trolle; Susan Trolle; Robert, Mitchell and Lindsey Thomas; and great-grandchildren: Caledon Trolle and Liam Healey. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom, her parents and granddaughters Jocelyn and Alyssa Trolle.
