IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Louis Dale
King
October 3, 1956 – December 17, 2021
Louis Dale King, 65, passed away at his Jacksonville home on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, with his wife and daughter by his side.
He was born on Oct. 3, 1956, in Jacksonville, Florida. He grew up in Jacksonville and graduated from Edward H. White High School.
He met his wife, Louise, at Bethesda Temple in 1980 and after a three-month courtship, the two were married at that same church in March 1981.
Their only child, daughter Francine, was born the next February.
Louise enjoyed a successful career as a Registered Nurse before her retirement, and Dale worked his way up from the mailroom to become a senior electrical designer with The Haskell Company, one of the nation's leading design-build firms, based in Jacksonville. He retired in 2015 after 40 years with the company.
Dale was a devoted follower of Jesus and filled his home with faith and love. He was a talented painter and enjoyed embarking on travel adventures with his family. Dale was loved by everyone he met and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Max and Irene King, his aunts Maxine, Nora and Muriel and his uncles Jack and Norman.
He is survived by Louise King (his wife of 40 years), daughter Francine Frazier (Darren), mother Sylvia Peltier, brother Jeffrey Peltier (Dianna), and many beloved family members and friends.
A celebration of Dale's life will be held at Arlington Park Funeral Home on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at 11 a.m. The family asks those attending to dress comfortably in their favorite colors and join us after the service for a picnic reception at Bruce Park.
The family will receive friends at the service beginning at 10:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Dale's name to Jewish Voice.
NOTE: Masks are encouraged but not required at the service, but if you are not feeling well, please join us via the live stream of the service.
