Louise Barnes Gibson

Louise Gibson was born in Wilmington, N.C and at a young age moved to Rose Hill N.C. where she grew up on the family farm. She attended Peace College in Raleigh N.C. She met and married Harold Gibson in 1947 and was happily married until his passing in 2003.

She died peacefully in her sleep on Monday January 19, 2016 and is survived by her three sons, Hal Gibson and his wife Chris, Jimmy Gibson, and David Gibson and his wife April.

She was a devoted mother and avid gardener. She was especially proud of her azaleas, and camellias, which she shared with her neighbors. She was also a big fan of the old classic movies.

The graveside funeral service will be held at Arlington Park Cemetery at 11 o'clock in the morning on Thursday December 29, 2016.
