Obituary of Lucille Brooks

Funeral services for Lucille M. Vaughn Brooks, 87, who died Thursday, July 26, 2007, will be held on Saturday, July 28th at 2:00pm in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, with Rev. Dave Spaulding officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Brooks was born in Osierfield, GA to the late Troy Moses and Mamie Matilda McDonald Vaughn. She was a member of the Glynlea Grace United Methodist Church. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, John O. Brooks. Survivors include on son, Marvin (Peggy) brooks of Jacksonville, Fl., one brother, Troy Vaughn and one sister, Mildred Hobby, both of Fitzgerald, Ga. as well as five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
