Lucille Dame Overstreet, 88, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017. Lucille was a loving Wife and Mother and leaves behind her husband of 39 years, Lee Overstreet Jr., and her daughter Sherrell Hoffmann, and son in law Jim of Ponte Vedra.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Mattie Dame, five brothers; Willie, Leon, Volnie, W. L. & Calvin and her four sisters; Eva, Minnie, Margaret & Francis.

She was an accomplished Realtor, property manager and office manager for J. Glover Taylor Realtors for many years.

Lucille loved life and enjoyed having coffee with friends, playing bridge, baking, bicycling, canoeing and after retirement she began run walking the mall almost daily which introduced her to a new group of loyal friends.

Lucille and Lee traveled extensively throughout the U. S. and around the world enjoying many cruises and month long road trips.

She loved her family and going to her family reunions. She also loved Terry Parker Baptist Church, it's members and activities.

She will be greatly missed by those that know and love her.

Visitation will begin at 12:30PM on Friday, February 10, 2017 in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home. Her Celebration of Life will be at 1:30PM with Pastor Dennis Singletary officiating.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Community Hospice, Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring, and suggests in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Lucille's name to the Center at 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.
