Obituary of Lula Cowan
Lula Elaine Cowan, age 57, of Jacksonville, passed away May 9, 2015. She was born to the late Howard and Marjorie Smith in Columbus, Georgia on November 24, 1957, and is preceded in death by her only brother, David Smith. Lula enjoyed going to the beach, cooking, gardening, and caring for her friends, family and many pets.
Lula, is survived by her Sons: Anthony Batastini, Marc (Melissa) Batastini, Ricky Cowan; daughter: Carissa Cowan; Sisters: Edna Webb, Linda Denney, Gwyn Hughes, Wanda Torrence, Sylvia Pelletier, Linda Payne; Five Grandchildren and her very special friend Nemo.
A Visitation will be held at 1:00PM Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel. A Celebration of Life with Pastor Wilford McCormick officiating, to follow at Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel 6920 Lone Star Road Jacksonville, FL. 32211.
