Obituary of Madeline Oliver

Madeline Catherine Oliver (Gummy), 93, born September 21, 1921 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Walter Clark MeGahan and Marion Baker MeGahan, passed away June 23, 2015 in Jacksonville, Florida while under the care of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida at the McGraw Center, Mayo Clinic Campus.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joseph W. Oliver. She is survived by her son, Raymond Oliver (Jean); four grandchildren, Herb Turner, Colorado Springs, CO, Theresa Colvin, Melrose, FL, Cynthia Turner, Jacksonville, FL, Jeff Oliver (Angie), Jacksonville, FL; four great granddaughters, Madeline J. Oliver, Tanesha Bridenback, Tasha Bridenback and Juliea Oliver; one great-great granddaughter, Avelynn Oliver and many friends. She will be greatly missed by all.

A Visitation Gathering will be held at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211 from 6-8PM, Monday, June 29, 2015.

A Celebration of Life will begin 2PM, in the Chapel of the funeral home, Tuesday, June 30th, 2015. A viewing will begin at 1PM for those friends and family members that could not be with us Monday Evening.

A Graveside Blessing will immediately follow at the Tower Mausoleums, Arlington Park Cemetery, 6921 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida. 32211
