Obituary of Mala Tarrant

Mala "Terry" Tarrant, 56, beloved mother, aunt, great aunt, daughter, sister and friend, passed away March 18 in her home. Terry was born August 10th, 1953, in Waycross, Georgia, to Rhoda and Frank Tarrant Sr . A retired children's education teacher for over 30 years, she loved to introduce new learning's to the lives of the children she taught. Terry loved animals and would always take a new one in. She loved to do crossword puzzles and watch her favorite shows. She loved being around children and making them smile. She enjoyed her church, friends and spending time with her family and especially her great nephews. She is survived by her mother, Rhoda Tarrant; her daughter, Lynn King; her brothers, Frank Tarrant and Richard Tarrant and sisters, Anna Bibbions, Jackie Hendry, Doris Tarrant. She leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, Robert Hendry, Michelle Davis, Shannon Cloud, Corey Tarrant, Jennifer Tarrant-Browning, Christopher Tarrant, Jason Tarrant. Her most cherished great nephews, Trysten Tarrant, Kadin Davis and Damean Hasburg. She also has many loving cousins, and good, true friends. She also leaves behind her dog, Tiny. She meant so much to so many people. She lived with her all and her heart was huge. Her generosity of spirit truly touched the lives of those that knew her. She was the most amazing, loving, caring and giving person. She is irreplaceable. We are truly blessed to have had her in our lives. She will live forever in our hearts. The family would like to thank everyone for their support. A memorial will be held to celebrate her life at Trinity Assembly of God, located at, 9770 Hogan Road, Jacksonville Fl 32246, March 22 at 1pm. Cremation provided by Arlington Park Funeral Home, Jacksonville. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Arlington Funeral home in her name "Mala Tarrant" 904-724-6384.
