Obituary of Marcia Quinn

QUINN Marcia Saundra Quinn. 68, passed away December 31, 2009. She was a lifelong native of Jacksonville, Florida and a proud graduate of Terry Parker High School and Jacksonville University. She was always doing for others and reflected this in her 37 devoted years to being an elementary school teacher. Mrs. Quinn also loved crafts and was a faithful member of Ft. Caroline Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl Elizabeth Smith; and sisters Dinelle Goehl and Jan Ross. Survivors include daughters, Candace Carter (Marvin) and Cheryl L. Eng (Troy); grandsons, Garrett Carter and Christopher and Matthew Eng; and a granddaughter, Sarah Eng. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 11am in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home, with Minister Richard Powell, officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
