Obituary of Margaret Carter

Margaret (Mickey) V. Carter, born December 7, 1924, passed away April 10, 2008, into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Connie E. Carter. Margaret leaves behind her children, Clifford (Gloria) Carter, Richard Carter, Cindy Carter Collins, and Cathy Carter Crenshaw. She was a loving grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Margaret was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church, as well as an active member in the Jacksonville Christian Womens Club, and a volunteer with the auxillary at Memorial Hospital for 17 years. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday April 14, 2008 and a funeral service on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery. A special thank you to her loving caregivers for the past 3 years. Thank you as well Community Hospice of N.E. FL., for their assistance in her final days.
