Obituary of Margaret Sanders

Margaret Marge Sanders 83, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2007 at St. Lukes Hospital. A longtime Jacksonville resident, she was preceded in death by her husband Chris and leaves three children: Chris Sanders (Angie) of Atlanta, Joanne Sellars and Cheri Martin Lucovsky (Chad) of Jacksonville. Yia Yia, as she was known to her beloved grandchildren Travis Martin, Taylor Sanders and Lexi Lucovsky, will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Sanders was born in Columbia City, Indiana. She and her husband came to Jacksonville in 1968 and settled in the Arlington area. She was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church and active in their Super Seniors program. Her other activities included playing bridge with friends, attending baseball games near and far and enjoying activities with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Arlington United Methodist Church, 1400 University Blvd., North with a gathering in the church parlor to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for memorial gifts to be made to American Cancer Society, 1430 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32207 in memory of Marge Sanders.
