Margaret Whitaker, 87, passed away August 10, 2021. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a great inspiration and example to everyone, and will be greatly missed. Margaret was a faithful member of Parkwood Baptist Church for 51 years. She was a Sunday School Teacher for senior ladies and the first graders, and also worked in the Church's nursery.

She is survived by her children, Ann (Anthony) and Steve; sister, Lois; four grandchildren, Jason, Kyle, Cory, and Clayton; and two great grandchildren, Kamden and Emily Rose. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Jack.

Margaret's funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 17th; with receiving/visitation @ 10:30am and funeral at 11am, in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.

The family wishes to express a "thank you" to Visiting Physicians, Vitas Healthcare, and Dr Ramon Castello (and all of their staff) for their love, support, and care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society or Vitas Healthcare.
