Obituary of Margaret Yates
Funeral service for Margaret A. Yates (Agnes), 92, Palm Gardens, 5725 Spring Park Road, Jacksonville, who died September 30, 2007, will be Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 11a.m, Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road; Pastor Harmeling of Southside Baptist Church, officiating.
'Agnes' was born at Hastings, Florida, December 28th, 1914. Her past employment was with National Food Services, Prudential Building and The Fannie Taylor Home. She also worked in the nursery at Southside Baptist Church where she was a long-time, faith-filled member.
Agnes is survived by: three children, Fran A. Lucier of DeLeon Springs, FL; Walter A. Yates of Wildwood, FL; and George E. Yates, of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Georgia Methvin of Palatka; and Eustis, FL; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. before the funeral service. Memorial donations may be sent to Hospice of North Florida, The American Cancer Society. Arlington Park Funeral Home is in charge.
