Obituary

Those who knew Margo knew she was a whirlwind; an unstoppable force of nature. She never took "no" for an answer and offered no apologies. She was fearless and ready to tackle anything, even if she didn't know how to do it at first. In her lifetime she worked as a roller-skating carhop, a hairdresser, an entrepreneur, and a registered nurse all while raising six beautiful and independent children. There are a million little things that made Margo so unique - she was a horse-riding cowgirl from Arizona who adored Elvis, she was a reincarnated Egyptian princess, she was a slot machine champion, she poured Kahlua on her ice cream, would ride every single roller coaster at the park and went white water rafting in her seventies. Margo traveled extensively and loved to meet new people. She took great joy from talking to people and learning their stories. The friendships she formed were strong and lasting, some even becoming just as close as family. The loss of such a powerful and sometimes infuriating woman is devastating. She lived her life with an intensity and vibrancy that leaves the world a little dimmer in her absence. She was our strength and she will always have our love. Margo was 18 when she met and fell in love with Carmen Citro. Thus, began a love affair that lasted for 62 years. Margo devoted her life to taking care of him and loving him, especially as he began to decline from dementia. She loved him so much and her wishes were for him always to be cared for and loved. As Margo did not want a formal funeral, we thought to make it possible for friends and family who wanted to honor Margo, to offer a gift that would go to the care of her husband Carmen. He has just lost the love of his life. We have set up this GoFundMe page to help you do that. http://gf.me/u/wvk9mh Please know how grateful we are for all the love and support we have received while going through this process.

Margo is survived by her husband Carmen and their six children (and spouses): Patricia Miller (C. Glenn), Lucia Dinehart (Jeff Tomlinson), Dana McCrone (Tom), Vincent Citro (Helen), Michael Citro and Adriane Citro. Grandchildren – Cameron Miller, Jacqueline Hearne, Krista Miller, Taylor Dinehart, Samantha Musick, Ashlea McCrone, John McCrone, and Kyle Citro along with 8 great Grandchildren.
